Koalas are primarily in the eucalyptus forests of eastern Australia, thriving in a climate that is relatively temperate. These endearing marsupials spend much of their life resting in the foliage, eating almost exclusively eucalyptus greens, which are low in nutrients and require a significant amount of energy to break down.
